Where do the tickets come from?

713-Tickets's registered sellers range from season ticket holders who are unable to attend all the games, to average consumers who purchased tickets to an event but can no longer attend.

How are tickets priced?

Tickets are based on market demand. Our registered sellers determine the price of the tickets. For example, tickets to a Red Sox-Yankees game will be in high demand and short supply. As a result, the tickets will sell at the "market demand price," which in this case, is an amount more than the price printed on the ticket.

What is a "market demand price"?

"Market demand price" is the price that clients are willing to pay for a ticket to a specific event. It may either be more or less than the price printed on the ticket.

When would a ticket sell below the price printed on the ticket?

Example: Tickets to many preseason NFL games in August are in very low demand. As a result, many ticketholders are "stuck" with tickets they cannot use. In order to recoup some of the costs they have incurred, ticketholders are willing to sell the tickets for less than the price they paid and/or the price printed on the ticket.

Why are some people willing to spend so much money on a ticket?

What is the service fee?

At 713-Tickets, there are no hidden costs -- we inform our clients of all fees up-front. Our service fee is 12% of the price of your tickets. This fee covers all services required to obtain the tickets from the seller & it is calculated from the market demand price.

Example: If the market demand price for a concert ticket is $100, the 12% service fee would equal $12.00.

In addition, once our clients receive a "Purchase Confirmation" email, 713-Tickets backs all tickets purchased with a 100% Guarantee, which ensures the authenticity of all tickets and that you'll receive the tickets you requested in time for the event.

If for any reason the client does not receive the ticket(s) as identified in the Purchase Confirmation email, 713-Tickets will immediately substitute a comparable or better ticket for the same market demand price, or refund the client's money.

What is your 100% Guarantee?

713-Tickets is an advocate for our clients and offers a 100% Guarantee for our connection services. Once a client receives a "Purchase Confirmation" email from 713-Tickets, we guarantee the authenticity of all tickets and that you'll receive the tickets you requested in time for the event.

If for any reason the client does not receive the ticket(s) as identified in the Purchase Confirmation email, 713-Tickets will immediately substitute a comparable or better ticket for the same market demand price, or refund the client's money.

Can I cancel for any reason after I place an order?

No. All orders are considered final once a client hits the "buy" button to place his or her order. At that point, there are no cancellations or exchanges allowed unless otherwise noted.

Will I get a refund if my event is rescheduled, rained out or postponed?

If an event is officially rescheduled, rained out or postponed (for any reason including an act of God), an announcement regarding the rescheduled date, time, and any other particulars will be made on one or all of the following: (a) in local newspapers, (b) on local radio, (c) on our website at 713-tickets.com, and/or (d) on team, artist or box office website. In the event of a rainout, please retain your ticket. A replacement ticket or a refund will not be issued.

What if my tickets are lost or stolen?

Please safeguard all tickets and handle them as you would handle cash. Lost or stolen tickets: (a) will not be replaced; (b) will not have location slips issued in replacement; and (c) cannot be replaced under any circumstances.

If an event is canceled in its entirety and is not rescheduled, how is it handled?

If an event is canceled in its entirety and is not rescheduled, tickets must be returned within 10 days of the scheduled event date. All tickets must be returned to 713-Tickets for a refund. This includes all tickets purchased via telephone, via fax, via internet or through our local office. All refunds will be made in the same manner in which payment was made. The tickets must be sent in a secured fashion (Federal Express, UPS, Certified Mail, etc.) to the address below, or presented in person to our Corporate Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please include your name and order number with the return tickets.

How much do I have to pay for selling my tickets through 713-Tickets?

The service is free. 713-Tickets applies a 7-15% markup to the seller's price. The mark-up covers business expenses associated with managing the transaction process. These business expenses include tracking shipments, processing payments to clients and sellers, and delivering world-class client service. Also, there is no fee for shipping, all cost are covered by the buyer of your tickets listed.

Why do I need a credit card?

To help protect our clients, 713-Tickets requires that a valid credit card in the seller's name be associated on the account. Again, this security measure is to deter fraudulent posting and serve as a safeguard for our clients, as well as to ensure the integrity of our sellers and their tickets. If a seller posts an invalid ticket on 713-tickets.com, the seller will be charged the ticket amount plus a 15% collection fee. In addition, a seller will also be charged if an order is confirmed and he or she cannot produce the tickets that were posted.

How and when am I paid if my tickets are sold?

You will be paid within 10 business days following delivery confirmation of the tickets via company check. The check runs are scheduled weekly and will be mailed promptly. The same payment process applies to orders which are delivered via courier or left at “Will Call.” To secure prompt payment, please reference 713-Tickets’s purchase order number on your invoice.

What happens if the event is postponed or canceled?

To collect a seller's payment for a canceled show, we will cancel all pending payments. For events already paid, 713-Tickets will contact the registered seller and make arrangements to collect payment. If a seller does not return the funds by a specified date, we may charge the seller's credit card. Sellers may request that the tickets be returned, in which case the buyer is responsible for the prompt return of those tickets.

What if I decide to go to the game/event?

713-Tickets expects that once tickets are no longer in your possession or you have decided to attend an event/game, that you will delete the tickets from your account. In the event you have not deleted your tickets and a client has purchased those tickets off the 713-Tickets website (or through our ticket exchange program for fan to fan ticket sales via the internet, telephone or fax) - you may be liable for the difference in replacement cost to obtain alternative tickets. However, we have found that prompt updating when the tickets are no longer available, decreases the likelihood of this happening to less than 1%.

If for any reason the client does not receive the tickets as identified in the Purchase Confirmation email, 713-Tickets will immediately substitute a comparable or better ticket for the same market demand price or refund the client's money.

Can I return my tickets if I change my mind?

Once a client hits the "buy" button to place his or her order, the client has committed to the order and there are no cancellations or exchanges allowed unless otherwise noted. When our clients receive a "Purchase Confirmation" email from 713-Tickets, the order is considered confirmed and our 100% guarantee for our connection services is applied to the order.
